The Story Behind Aaikyam Yoga
Welcome to Aaikyam Yoga – a sanctuary of stillness, strength, and self-discovery. This space was born not from ambition, but from healing. Years ago, I turned to yoga to recover from a back injury. What began as a physical necessity slowly transformed into a daily ritual of peace, purpose, and presence. Over time, yoga became more than just movement – it became my medicine, my mirror, and my way of life. Today, yoga is no longer just something I do – it’s the way I live. I cannot go a day without it. To deepen my understanding, I completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy (PGDYT) 400 hrs Teacher Training from Yogkulam, immersing myself in the philosophy, anatomy, and energy of yoga. This training reinforced what I had already felt: that yoga isn’t just about the poses – it’s about presence, connection, and inner harmony. At Aaikyam – a Sanskrit word for “oneness” , “harmony”– we honor yoga in its wholeness. Our classes are crafted to be inclusive, mindful, and rooted in traditional wisdom, yet tailored for the modern body and mind.
